Have you ever been stumped by a technical issue that slowed down your work while you search Google, Reddit, or Stack Overflow for the answer? Microsoft Co-Pilot can help! This hour-long session will cover strategies for crafting prompts that are specific to technical questions, using examples from Excel, Google Collab, and Python. This session will also cover ethical considerations to keep in mind when using AI tools.

By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

  • Identify scenarios where AI tools like Microsoft Co-Pilot can support troubleshooting and research.
  • Apply prompt-engineering techniques to generate helpful, relevant AI responses to technical problems.
  • Evaluate the limitations and ethical concerns of using AI in technical and research contexts.
